This location honestly had the worst customer service I've experienced since moving to San Diego. My friend and I walked in and we weren't greeted. Keep in mind, we're the only customers in there. The guy and girl working kept talking as if we were supposed to help ourselves and make our own acai bowls. The girl helping us was cold and unfriendly. The workers didn't even say bye or anything when we left. I'm not saying they needed to be overly friendly but we felt extremely uncomfortable, unwelcome, and as though we were bot... read more
Arrive to this place there's a sign that says be back in 5 min using restroom. So I wait 10 min dude comes back puts on one glove and starts preparing my bowl. I ask the guy " why didn't you put on a glove on the other hand and his responds " oh I don't touch anything with that hand" I said " dude your touching my cup with that hand" I walk out with disgusted. Won't be coming back
I'd love to give this location a 5 star but it's just slllooooww service. There's only one girl working and she's doing her best. Seems they may be short staffed. I love this location though. Clean, adorable, always have the most ingredients. Love that they carry Pressed juices as well as Celsius and Superfuel Coffee. Highly suggest coming here for a healthy bowl!
I didn't have the best experience at this location~ The girl working said they don't have the fresh lemon and Cayenne here. Felt like I was bothering her, and like she does not like interacting with people. The blueberries looked fine to the eye, but tasted mushy/funky~ Likely won't be back to this location anytime soon.
Everbowl took over the location where Vitality Tap used to be. The menu has slightly changed and now it's pretty simplified I didn't see any smoothes on the menu anymore. I used to be a frequent customer at their other CV location but now with the prices up and portions down. Used to be one size and one price. Now you get exactly half of the portion of what it used to be for the same price, talk about inflation... I still like visiting Everbowl from time to time, I enjoy unlimited toppings.
This place is fantastic. My favorite part is the virtually unlimited bases/toppings for one reasonable price. Also, they provide samples if you're not ready to commit, so you can be sure of what you're getting yourself into. My personal favorites are the açaí, cacao nibs, and chia pudding -- throw on the fruit, peanut butter, and granola and you've got a great post-workout snack. Enjoy!
I'm a SD noob so I don't really have a benchmark for what good acai bowls are, but I do know I thoroughly enjoyed what I got at Everbowl. Went there on a warm Saturday morning, the server was really friendly, and I loved how I could choose as many bases and toppings as I wanted. My friend and I each got a small - perfect size for a filling breakfast.
way too icy, absolutely not worth $10. would recommend root bowls on university ave for smoother bases.
