We bought my Grandparents house years ago, and it is pushing 100 years old, so I knew it had a history of leaky corners in regular rains, and every few years, if the rain was just right, it would flood the basement with several inches of water, causing much anguish, hard work and tears. Although there was a rec room with a bar built many years ago, parts of the basement that were subject to these floods were basically unusable for much of anything. The walls of our basement are thick layers of cream city brick, and we also... read more

Business response:

Wooooooow! Love, love, LOVE to read this, Deb! Thank you for sharing and even more for reaching out to explain your approval of the work. Next time you call, would you ask for me? I'd love to be the one to hear the kind words. I'm glad the boys could enjoy the basement. I'm thinking of doing the same for my daughters this summer. They too are in their teens. Would be nice to have a hang out spot for them. Anyway, take care and make sure to keep whispering kind things to people about us. :) Yours, Matthew Flynn, Gener... read more

I went kicking and screaming into accepting the fact my basement needed to be waterproofed. When I purchased the home in 2012, we tired to "fix" the seepage problem, but to no avail. All the work we put in molded, the smell of mildew was very strong and at one point there was standing water. I called to have someone come take a look and scheduled my appointment to have the basement waterproofed. Although it is extremely expensive, the work they did fixed the problem completely. I tore out all of the wood we had put up and cu... read more

Business response:

Hey Sophia, thank you for sharing. I understand completely the feeling of anxiousness over a basement waterproofing issue. So often we look to do a stop-gap fix for the short-term as the long-term fix may be out of our present-day price range. I get it. That said, sometimes the signs of the problem are hard to detect and the problem causes further issues. That smell could have been mold and no one wants to ingest that right? Glad we could help. And make sure to call us if you see damp spots. You shouldn't. A dehumid... read more

We have been very happy with the job that Everdry Waterproofing did in our home. It was installed in 2006 by the previous owner and the warranty was transferable to us when we bought the house. The basement is always dry no matter what the weather. Highly recommended! Karli and Eric Larsen, Milwaukee WI

Business response:

Karli and Eric, thank you. Love it when others share their feelings about our work. Know that your warranty is there in case anything comes up. If there's anything you need, please feel free to give us a call. Yours, Matthew Flynn, General Manager.

Shortly after we moved in to our home in Watertown in 2005 we started noticing light moisture on the floors in the basement. In the floods of 2007/2008 our basement became flooded with standing water on more than one occasion. All of our belongings were ruined and as first time home owners we were at a loss. Looking for advice we talked to my parents who recommended Everdry. They had used Everdry 20 years ago in their own home and have had a dry basement since. We gave Everdry a call and the whole process was easy from begin... read more

We purchased our home in 2000 in Greenfield WI, and were very pleased that the previous owners had already had the basement done by EVERDRY WATERPROOFING. As with any homeowners concern, the basement is a big one, and they did an awesome job. I loved the fact that the warranty was transferable, and about 4 years later our sump pump quit working. I made a call and the next day they came out and changed it out for us, no charge, included in the warranty! A year after we bought our house, a friend bought his and we recommended ... read more

Business response:

Thank you for passing on the good word to not just a friend, but to others on Facebook. One of the best reviews we can read is when someone has the warranty transfer to them and then they get to see the service it provides. Isn't that great? Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. Yours, Matthew Flynn, General Manager

I would recommend Everdry to everyone. It is a great service and really helps with flooding. This winter we did not have any flooding in the basement from all the snow we had when it melted. Darren and Carol Zastrow Milwaukee,Wisconsin

We've been in our Waukesha home since 1990. In 2009 and 2010, we had some basement flooding due to heavy rains. Since we had Everdry install their waterproofing system in 2010, we have not had any water at all in our basement. The team at Everdry worked efficiently and we have not had any problems with the installation. I would recommend Everdry to anyone who has issues with water in their basement.

I used to get water in my basement very often. In February of 2006 Everdry waterproofed my basement, and I have not seen any water down there since. This is important to me because I am 74 years old, and I cannot take care of water problems anymore like I used to have to do.

I had Everdry Waterproofing redo my basement water shielding several years ago. It has given me piece of mind after having the outside basement wall resealed. No more leakage thru the cement blocks. The battery back up for the sump pumps will work when the power goes out on occasion. The new drain tiles work better after big storms too. It was a good idea to redo the waterproofing of the basement. Jo Ann Gilbert Eagle, WI
