Close to Oakland University The check in process was horrible. We arrived early--1 o'clock and staff told us the room would be ready in a half hour. We waited til 1 1/2 hours and it was still not ready. Came back at 3:30, room was ready---lugged all of our stuff in and it WAS NOT ready. Waited another hour and it finally was ours! Good experience. We needed a place close to the Palace and this place is a good value.
OK for the Money It is definately not a 3 or 4 star hotel. But it is convienent to Auburn hills and Rochester. They could use a business center with at least one PC for guests to use.. The rooms were a bit cluttered and hard to move around a bit. Remove the chair and ottoman would have helped.

enjoyable stay close to Meadowbrook Friendly service Very nice room, everything I needed . Clean. Highly satisfactory.
Hotel near university Room was good size, not cramped even with a king size bed. Lots of restaurants nearby. Close to the freeway.
Close to college a plus! Very convenient location to Oakland University. Nice for visiting college student & pets are welcome. Able to cook in room with small kitchenette. The hotel looks & smells clean, but when using the pull out sofa bed, more than once we have had stained matteresses & crumbs & food found inside the sofa seats. An exterminater was working when we checked in which made me think they may have some problems, but at least they are dealing with them.
