Current remodel is necessary, but inconvenient! The hotel is in the middle of a remodel. More than half of the hotel is blocked off, making amenities impossible to use. The rooms that are available have not been redone since the hotel has gone non-smoking, and it is apparent. There is still a dull stench, and everything needs to be cleaned/updated. Comfortable but service could be better I stayed here during a recent vacation. The room was comfortable enough, and the location was convenient. However, I had a very different experience checking out than I did checking in. Check-in staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Check-out staff treated me as if I was just another person and didn't even thank or greet me.

They took care of our issues. Check-in was very unorganized, took about a half hour to do. Got our billing mixed up. Rooms were overbooked, so in one of the rooms, one person had to sleep on an air mattress.

Took about 15 minutes to check in even though there was no line. He had to go and make sure the room was ready at 10pm? The area that people are to put their trash was tidy but SO STINKY.
