Wood floors - better than carpet, but need cleanin Modern, recently built hotel with stylish rooms, basic ammenities, and services. Wooden floors aid in keeping typical 'musty' smell (with rugs) at bay... but should be mopped and/or vacuumed more frequently. Wife took clean bath mat from shelf and placed it on floor for stepping out after her bath. When finished bathing, noticed it was a bit wet and shook mat over tub to get rid of excess moisture. Pet friendly hotel with busy city setting. My wife and I along with our 2 dogs stayed here for 12 nights. The room size is average, with a small kitchenette. A full sized fridge, microwave and 2 burner cook-top. We bought groceries for breakfast and ate in our room each morning. We brought a toaster and coffee maker along with cutlery and dishes. Good but shady. The hotel was good. The room appears clean, just don't look too closely. The clientele and the people hanging out in the parking lot are a little shady. Plus, the smokers standing around the front door was annoying, including one of the employees, even though there is a sign clearly stating that there is no smoking aloud within 25 feet of the front door.
