Very consistent Candlewood Suites are very consistent across the country, and very nice. It makes it feel like home for us since we are on the road all the time. The free laundry is great and the fitness room and kitchen. This one had a pool, which most don't, and it was very nice too! We didn't use the hot tub since it was so hot outside, but they let us use the pool while waiting for a room to be ready (we got there at 12:30). When we came back in at 2:00 they had our room ready.
Overpriced & no extras included I reserved a one bedroom suite for my parents and a two double bed studio for myself through expedia but upon arrival they gave my parents a studio. When I showed the front desk my confirmation for a one bedroom suite I was told that it was too bad they couldn't help me because I reserved through a 3rd party site. Also, all the other hotels & suites in Kingwood offer free full breakfast so we were shocked that this one didn't even have a continental breakfast. The offer granola bars, etc at an... read more
Good stay for next day flight Required near airport hotel for flight next morning to South America. Price was good compared with other places nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful, room in good conditions. Nothing fancy but good enough. Will use it again.
GREAT QUIET LOCATION Very well appointed room overall - excellent value for longer period stays. Great location amongst the trees. Discount at nearby Denny's for breakfasts. Only issues were: - The free shuttle only operates 6AM to 6PM; - My taxi driver could not find it; - My room curtain could not be closed, and the 2 outside lamps shone right into the bedroom.
Just about perfect I stay in hotels all over the world, and this is up there with one of the most convenient, best staffed, and nicest hotels i've ever stayed in. Well done Candlewood - I will be back!
