Extended Stay America, Alameda, Ca Friendly staff and dog friendly too!!
Great place to stay near Jack London Square We (young couple) stayed here for two nights. We enjoyed the surrounding view of boats and water. Lobby was nicely decorated and clean. Room was a bit drab. Curtains and bedding were clean but unappealing. Kitchen area was also clean. TV was not really good working, but enough to watch a show or two. Nice walking paths around the building and felt very safe. Paid 10 dollars more for the premium room, but the furniture etc still felt very outdated. But kitchen and room was clean so ... read more
加州奥克兰的Extended Stay America Oakland - Alameda 在海湾边上,环境一流。靠近奥克兰唐人街,去旧金山也不远。
would stay again this place is decent enough. The manager is real nice. she was friendly and helpful. theres not much around here in walking distance. but overall the hotel was what we expected. no issues.
Extended Stay America Oakland - Alameda Front desk was nice and courteous. I was expecting a view of the waterfront with the sailing boats, instead I had the view of the parking lot. the room I had wasn't the same from the pictures online, and I was hoping to have a flat screen tv like the others have. Overall, it was O.K. Not at all satisfied, but it's O.K.
Nice surprise... Nice stay. The hotel is in a commercial district with no wanderers in site. You don't have to pay for parking. The internet is $5, but it is not super slow like the free internet that you get for free at other hotels and the overall cost is not nearly as high as surrounding hotels.
read the review a) The hotel is supposedly 0.53 miles or so from Jack London Square. But unless we're birds and can fly across the Estuary, it's more like 1.5 miles. You cannot walk it, which is what I wanted. b) Only 1 of 2 computers working when we checked in. 15 min wait. c) No panel of metal pockets with local brochures. The desk receptionist looked, nothing about the local attractions. d) We did get a view of the water though which was nice. e) In general, the reception people were very nice and helpful.
Extended Stay The hotelvwas very nice, in a nice area, sat right on the harbor. Two complaints...1st, if you are not familiar with the area, you may get confused with the signs on the freeway, as I did, and accidentally go through China town! Yes, that slight mishap set me back 45 minutes while trying to fight traffic in China town...2nd, the bed was horrible! Way to hard! Woke up with a swore back...overall I would stay there again but hopefully avoid China town...
This was my best time at this hotel. I have stayed at this hotel about four or five times since 2009 and the last couple of times the room hasn't been clean but this time I got a great room which was spotless and had a great view. If I get a clean room like this everytime then I would recommend this hotel to everyone without any hesitation.
