Pretty nice place for the price. Ive paid higher nightly rates in multiple places in Oakland/Alameda and they weren't as nice and a few even came with unexpected bloodsucking bedmates that didnt even include a happy ending. No bedbugs or roaches in an Oakland area motel is like a mansion. Praise Buddha.

The Wifi speed is about 1 Mbs, but was at 0.01 Mbs for a while. When I complained about it, I was given a number to call, rather than them calling it. When watching YouTube or Netflix on the TV, the picture often freezes. They don't clean your room or provide any real service unless you pay extra for it. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Other than those things, it was fine. It is nice to have a stove, sink and refrigerator in the room.

The room was fine for me, it was cheap and right next to the NRG. It looked like a lot of homeless people hang out in the parking lot. Even the hotel across the street had a gated parking lot. The room thermostat was a fake thermostat and the buttons didn't do anything. I guess the temperature was controlled somewhere else? Not sure. The bathtub faucet was leaking and had to listen to that all night. The elevator was broken and even with my bad back and torn ACL, I had to climb a flight of stairs because they couldn't pute.o... read more
