Never been to a hotel that had no ice machines , very disappointed, also called night before to ask what payment policy was and when i went to checkin itwas different

Housekeeping let me sleep! I have stayed at this hotel before and enjoy the convenience of its location. The cleanliness and comfort of the room is predictable. I think it is offers good value. That being said, on this last visit, housekeeping woke me in the morning (knocking at my door) to discern whether or not I had checked-out. It was still early (9:00 am) and was really strange to have someone at my door (creepy). Shouldn't they have a better system for this?
