Extended Stat AmericaFarmington, Detroit Overall it served its purpose well. There was a little confusion at first but the staff got it worked out by the next day. I enoyed having a refrigeratior and kitchen, but did not like not being able to scn a document.

Average Hotel Reasonable Price The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The kitchenette area was, however, lacking in cooking pots, etc. The internet was reliable. It is close to good restaraunts and shopping.

Bad smell and below average service The room constantly has smell of smoke of cooking from nowhere. It wasn't from outside of the window, wasn't from the other side of the door. The receptionists seem to know very little about the services they're providing. They do not smoothly check out and check in persons. There is ABC channel on TV, but when I asked they said there is on ABC at all, which is wrong. But staying in this hotel is because it has a fridge, and the other one with a fridge (Day's Inn) is far away. So this one ... read more

Nice Accomodations The hotel was very well located next to food, car wash, and in walking distance to a lot of attractions. What I like was the varity in the room service menu.

Extended Stay Farmington Hills MI I needed a place that was quick that quiet and comfortable. I was a little apprehensive because it was only a 2 star hotel but was pleasantly surprised. I had just a queen bed, but I had microwave, 2 burner stove, big refrigerator, sink with garbage disposal and coffee maker. Also had pots pans, cups plates. It was more than what I expected plus they took my dog with minimal additional charge. And for the price I couldn't have been happier. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget. Extended Stay America - North Farmington Hills, MI Everything was fine; good price, good location, all roads make it convenient to all surrounding areas, plenty of places to eat, easy to DTW Airport, the easiest route back is to DTW is use Middlebelt Rd. just a half mile to the west of the hotel rather than going over to Orchard Lake Rd. and getting onto I-696, plenty of gas stations for filling up rental car tank on Middlebelt (Valero on left 4 miles from airport), hotel one block away from USA's first Holocaust Memorial Ce... read more

Not as nice as expected... although this was presented as a four-star hotel, I was dissapointed in the maintenance and feel. No shampoo, had to ask for the hair dryer at the front desk, no breakfast. Not a great feel to the place.
