*********************************************** (*******)*********************************** Besides the fact that the price of the unit is constantly increasing, without explanation (from $145-$277) there is no guarantee of safety on the territory. My car was brutally vandalized and the manager refused to consider the crime. She deliberately hid the photos on the camera from me and said that it was not her business.

I prorated my unit on 5/17/25 at *********************, ** with a move out date of 5/31/25 once I flew down there from **, with the understanding that I would not be charged the monthly $532.16 storage fee on 6/1/25. I confirmed 2 days before my move out date, and received a Move Out Confirmation email. When I arrived at the unit, I spoke with their Facility Mngr, gave him my unit #****, at which time he wrote my unit# on a sheet. I rented a unit in ********, ** for 3 years, I moved out last Saturday and closed my account, cleaned out the unit, unfortunately four pieces of cardboard remained.The store manager reactivated my account WITHOUT MY PERMISION, and charged me $720.00 because the locker was not "clean". It took 5 days to return the overcharge.This caused checks to be returned and additional bank charges, his answer was too ****** WARNED, STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY

Ive had a very frustrating experience with this storage facility at ***********************************, and want to warn others before they sign upespecially if youre considering using auto pay.When I first rented my unit, everything seemed fine. But just 4 months in, the rent doubled without warning. Since I was on auto pay, I didnt catch it until I reviewed my statements. This place is price gouging and raising prices and if you dont negotiate with the manager they will cancel your payment and hold your belongings hostage. I have been renting there longer than the current manager. Im not a one month renter this is going on over years. They have tried to secretly raise my rent 2 times now by hundreds of dollars. Be safe out there people.

Watch out vendors/contractors!! I did a service for Extra Space Storage at this location back in December 2024 and until now they have not pay me. They always tell me that the check has been processed and I should have it in a couple of days or this week. But six months later still no checks.*************************************************************************************************

Do Not Rent from Extra Space Storage Warning, Extra Space Storage Had Increased my agreed Storage Fee by $100 in 6 Months. They did another increase of $100, 5 months later raising my storage rent by $200 without any Notice. They tried to claim that they had my old address but I know they had my New Address because when I make my payments My New address is always asked for during payment. I've have Never been Late and have always paid in Full and on Time. Do Not Rent from Extra Space Storage. Save yourself the Headache.

**********-COLUMIA SC Moved out and canceled contract in the office on April 18th. Storage place used 4/27 date only so they did not have to refund money. Not in their contract and promises made when started Very poor business

This is by far the worst place to storage your things at.. with that being said tho you don't have many options for a storage companyThey will say you owe extra unit rent when you don't and charge you extra so they can keep your things you cannot talk to a manager because they do not answer the phone they left a lock on my unit for 3 weeks after I had made my partner up to date so I wasn't allowed in my unit for my property because they claim they had nobody to go take the lock off I should have revived a month for free a fa... read more
