These people are criminals, it isn't any wonder they netted 800 million last year, not only raise my rent, they charged me a late fee, because they would'nt honor the grace ****** because it fell on a holiday. Called to reserve a unit. ***** told me he'd give me a lock for free if I gave him an excellent review. That is how they get their good reviews on their website, bribery.I went in to fill out the contract and he told me I didn't have a unit at their facility, he argued with me about it. Finally discovered there was another page. Duh!***** took me to see the unit. Door was broken and there was a gaping hole in my unit with shredded sharp edges made in my unit by the adjoining unit. I was client with life storage but one time they charged me $ extra and they didnt return it back. They are not proffessional, they steel money from the client and I tried to contact the corporate and i didint get anything.

My rate keeps going up. I rented a small unit for a close friend. The rate is supposed to cost 61$ a month and 13$ for insurance. After 3 months my rate has gone up by almost 2x. My billing history is 114, 74, 74, 92, 124 and this month is 124. This is confusing because the contract that said my rate was 61$ a month. Because i have a contract, the fact i reached out to management twice with no response... i'm wondering if i need to hire a lawyer! 1/10 i wouldn't recommend doing business with this company.

Would rate less than 1 star if I could. Manager is the worst manager of any storage facility I have ever done business with. Zero customer service skills. Never using this company again.

They are absolutely not customer service oriented and care nothing about the customer. They get you into a unit and its a new type of bait and switch. On my 3rd month I got a rate increase from $125 to 205. How does anything jump 64%. Calls upon calls and visit upon visit and I was finally explained about doing a transfer. Special favor allowing me to have the transfer completed on 10/12 and transfer on 10/15 at $69 a month. On 10/14 the rate published on the internet was $52 and on 10/15 internet price $61 and yet I couldnt... read more

Promotional price never disclosed!!MICE MICE MICE!! #1 I was quoted one price and was never told it was a promotional price and my price would go up after 3 mo #2 October 10th 2022 went to get my 2 bags of winter clothes out of my storage unit and when I went to open the bags on October 15th there were MOUSE DROPPINGS all in my clothes!! If you don’t mind LS raising the rent by 20% after 2 months then the place is ok - Thornton, CO. They have the ability to raise your rent at anytime with 30 days notice which is standard in the industry. However, the 20% increase is unreasonable and overpriced compared to the market. They bank on you not wanting to move all your stuff. We needed a second unit and the pattern repeated itself.
