Be VERY CAREFUL about when you give notice to move out. They said we needed to give 10 days notice. So, I gave the notice on the 18th of the month and we moved out on the 23rd. I would have been willing to pay for 10 days after the 18th or the 23rd. BUT my billing cycle dictated that I paid for a full month on the 17th. They CHARGED ME on my credit card on the 17th for the entire upcoming month even though I moved out 5 days after the beginning of that month. They like to hike up rates without properly informing their customers. When you talk to to them on the phone, they act like you should understand why you're suddenly paying $20 more a month for the same unit. My unit was also broke in to and the wall on the side was broken. They didn't do anything about for a month and they never made it seem like it was a big deal that someone got into my unit. I Rented a 30 foot covered RV storage space on March 22nd from Ivan, Paid in advance due to it was the last one available, I never used the space till approximately 3 weeks later when I arrived to put it in my rented space it was unable to fit due to other vehicle in the space in front of me, so I could not maneuver into my space even after several attempts with help from the management they also confirmed it would not fit with the vehicle there. they told me that they would call the renter in front of me and ask if they co... read more

Good facility. Terrible service. I was with them for 5 years they raised my rates every few months. I just called to cancel my storage after move out and they told be they are keeping my monthly rent for this month. Its only the 6th, in every since of the word that is theft. What a bunch of thieves..

Worst experience ever. First, Lisa called to tell me that they wanted a timeframe I'd be coming to make sure someone was there, but that wasn't a big deal. I asked to speak with the manager because I didn't know what time if be coming, but it would be during their business hours. She said they aren't normally there during business hours, so that is why o wanted to speak to a manager. How do you post hours and not be there? I was very irritable and a little unfair to Lisa. the worse its hot every two weeks the coolers go out hot as can be in there they act like they are doing you a favor insist on ins which my homeowners give but they monkeyed around for weeks so I had to pay a higher price now it is so hot in there being summer in Vegas they tell me when the coolers go out we call for repair m just saying dont get ripped off go somewhere else so you can have you stuff air cooled and you can work in there it must have been 115 * in there the day we went to get some items zero customer s... read more

Thought we would try to stick it out here and see if things improved. They got worse. Manager here couldn't care less and almost seems bent on driving away business. We give up. Moving our equipment ASAP to a better location at half the price with staff that is helpful and courteous. We first did business here over 25 years ago when it was under different ownership. Too bad. This location is right in our neighborhood but we are willing to travel in order to be treated like valued customers.

Quoted a price over the phone and when we arrived we were told the unit would cost nearly 40% more due to their mandatory insurance requirements. I have no problem with a business charging whatever they want but I do expect them to be honest regarding their pricing. I would not recommend this business.

Keith, we do require insurance for customers who do not already have homeowners insurance to cover their belongings. We apologize for any inconvenience.

If I could give a negative star rating, I would! Make sure you don't pay for the insurance that Extra Space Storage bills you automatically for, even when you have your own renter's insurance. RATS ATE MY RATAN FURNITURE! Management was not concerned and told me to turn it in on my own insurance, because Extra Space Storage insurance will not pay for basically anything except damage caused from a natural disaster.
