Update from original review: There was a mentally ill guy or he was on drugs living in his storage unit and one day I was organizing my unit he came and started harassing me. Since nobody was at this location I called one of the other locations and the guy on the phone knew exactly who he was and described him. Why if this has been a known issue was this not taken care of before this became a dangerous situation? Property is well upkept, and carts are provided and always readily available for use, which is very helpful for moving your goods. The whole process of non contact leasing was also very extremely easy and appreciated, but staff that we have delt with are nice and helpful.
My experience with Extra Space Storage has been excellent. They are professional, courteous and helpful in every way. Their facility is excellent and I recommend them highly.
Extremely poor record keeping that resulted in monthly charges accruing months after move out despite repeated calls for correction. This is a sorry business with no effective management or proper control or ability to make compensation for wrongful charges. Very frustrating experience.
