I am very happy with the experience I have had with the 1141 Pembrooke Ave Extra Space Storage location in Hampton, VA. I live in another city and I was able to reserve my unit with Daphne, the onsite manager's help. She was kind and conscientious and took great care in getting my unit all set in advance of my arrival. This has been the best storage experience I have ever had. The climate control units work as expected and the unit was clean and ready for use when I arrived.
I had a great experience with my storage check in. The instructions were clear and easy and my keys were in the unit. I was very pleased.
My rate increased. I called to talk to a very unhelpful individual at the Pembroke location. Ask what we could do about lowering the rate back to what it was. Was told that’s just what it is. Kept getting talked over she would not listen to anything I had to say. As unfortunate because the person who set me up in the first place was very nice and helpful. I had outstanding service. Storage units were limited due to the local colleges being out of school and going home for the summer but Daphne made sure that before I left I had somewhere local to store my furniture. Thank you so much.
I am a returning customer to this facility because the unit size is excellent for my needs and Daphne provides excellent customer service. Daphne is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. The entire rental process was great. Give this location a try, you will not be disappointed.
