We had great service when signing up. They were friendly and was able to work with me on making our payment due on the date that best works for us.
Bait and switch. Price raised from 120 to 171 on 4th month. Even thou at signing owner insisted price is permanent.
BWEARE! Wet units, units are not secure, and expect WET BOXES when it rains! Watch out, they will increase price without notice. Once you get moved in they raise the rent enough to not be worth the hassle to move. It's strategic and intentional. They are company I would not recommend to anyone for storage needs. We had a horrifying experience and will never be renting from another Extra Space Storage facility again. First of all, we were charged $70/mo for a non-climate controlled 5x5 unit which is way over priced in my opinion. I would have been fine with the cost if the size of the unit was actually as advertised. The actual size was 4x4 feet and clearly was not large enough for most storage needs. Outside of the excellent customer service from Margarita, this business hasn't had one single positive aspect to share. I had to give my notice to move as of today because when I went online to pay my bill, I had yet another rate increase. That's the second one in 9 months. I've gone from 155 a month, to 188 a month. Maurice, we do need to raise our rent from time to time in order to keep up with rising costs associated to the cleanliness and security of the facility. We signed an agreement maybe 6 months ago and have received TWO rent increases since. We will be moving our stuff somewhere less expensive very soon.
