My recent experience with Extra Space Storage was outstanding. Matt was professional, helpful, and knowledgeable, and we were able to move things to a perfect unit the same day. The selection and registration process was quick and easy, and the price was lower than their competitors. Highly recommended!
I have only had the storage space for about 4 days now but moving in was very easy. The professional staff showed me exactly where I would be storing my items, checked the size, and finished all the paperwork extremely fast. He was very informative and made sure I knew what all the paper meant and exactly what I would be paying and when. Moving in was easy and I loved being able to pull right up to my unit. Place smells like fuel or car oil so your stuff will smell. There is a constant LOUD beeping sound that is excruciatingly annoying. It is not climate controlled, the unit is freezing cold during the winter so if you have plastic items or fragile items they will crack. There app is awful and often times not responsive to open the gate to get into the building. The gate has been broken numerous times and I couldn't get in after office hours which is 5pm or the gate is broken and left open for days so anyone can enter the ... read more

I've been renting here a year. I started off at $169/month and then there was a 100% increase to $269/month after 6 months. The woman who usually is at the front desk was a huge help and explained why that is. Two months ago they increased my pricing again to $300/month. I was willing to downsize but they don't have that much available on the property, even though their website makes it seem like there is plenty available. Hi, I would like to know how to get a copy of my lease/contract with this company? A few months ago I was informed I was "renting two individual units" however when I signed up I only wanted 1 unit. How do you get a refund for 6 months of payments from a unit never assigned to me? Thank you -Mel

My experience with this company started out great. Friendly, helpful, etc., and the unit i rented was great. Then two months later, they raised my rent by 57%. The standard bait-and-switch. Be very careful when renting from them. Don't make the mistake I did. Absolutely the worst.
Worst company ever. I was a loyal customer for years but got fed up with their games. For being a loyal customer they awarded me worth paying literally almost double for my unit than a new costumer. Raised my rent all the way to $295 when they are offering the same unit for $155. Really??? In the winter they took their time removing snow from the door on my unit. Absolutely appalled at the customer service here. We had a reservation, they cancelled without calling us or contacting us in anyway and then lied when we asked why they cancelled. Don't rent here
