Fabulous experience! Jen, the manager, is at the top of her game and this has made all the difference. She is clearly professional, highly organized and genuinely concerned about customer service. The day we arrived to finalize our online reservation the loading bay and office were bustling. Jen was lovely and quite helpful! I have the smallest storage unit and felt like it was very well priced and accessible. Jen explained things kindly and clearly and the space was clean and secure.

This place is horrible. They don't maintain the office hours like they say they do. They charge you additional fees and don't give you all the information where your unit is. Some units at 10 feet off the ground and they called them lockers but they don't tell you that. The person who runs the place his name is Alex. No customer service skills and very unhelpful and non-responsive when you have a problem. The specific storage place I would not recommend at all

I need to use storage units from time to time in Allston and Brighton area. Extra Space Storage is the by far worst storage facility in terms of management, customer service, and accessibility. They can change access hours without giving you notice and make you wait locked out for hours without an explanation.

DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY! Waited at the door at 9:20 for the office to open. At 9:30 the door opens automatically- I walk in & the employee doesn't greet meet or even look up. He shuffles papers for 10 mins. before helping me. I needed a unit or I would have left. After going through the contract, taking my cash, etc. I leave to get my car. Once I'm backed up to the garage door, he WON'T open the door because his car is inside. He wanted me to move all of my stuff in through the regular door! 1. Mouse poop on my things. I decided it wasn't worth the hassle to complain to the manager, as I probably wouldn't get anywhere. So I left 2 pillows next to the dumpster. It was locked, so I didn't see how else to get in there. 2. I was charged a $25 fee for leaving the damaged pillows next to the dumpster. Mouse poop Rent hikes Flood damage Don't be fooled, this place is much crappy or than it looks overtime with new owners and changing policies, it's really turned into a shit hole cannot recommend it.

The reception guy helped me open up an account despite the fact that I was there five minutes before they close. The deal was good and the guy even gave out good suggestions. Facility was clean and tidy. Everything went exactly the way I wanted it to be. Will definitely come back.
