Very accurate but somewhat cumbersome The vision test is accurate. It works. I got the results that match my known prescription. I was expecting a fast and easy test. Instead it takes a bit of practice to get used to the test. It also takes some of time to run through the test. The buttons on the device take some getting used to as well. I was hoping to be able to use the vision test on my kids, but that’s not going to work. It’s too complicated for kids to use. So overall not what I expected, but still a good accurate visio... read more

Home Doctor is In Greta product. Just received my first glasses 2 days ago for EyeBuyDirect. Test was easy. I took it 4 times to make sure it was accurate. A bit straining on the eyes, ti see the testing image but it all worked well. And not having a real doctor prescription in over 2 years I was worried. But it turned out great and boy was my vision in need of an upgrade. My new progressive glasses ar evoke for my Durante and reading. Would definitely recommend. I’d live to be able to get the new version here in the US. I a... read more

Not comparable to a visit to an optometrist I used this device, then visted an optometrist. The device said I was -5 in the left eye and -4 in the right eye. The optometrist prescribed -3.5 in both eyes. It seems the optometrist under-prescribed though because it doesn't seem strong enough. However, this device is clearly off on the left eye, so I recommend attempting the test multiple times.

So much better than the Dr's Office! Ok, so I was skeptical, I mean really skeptical. I had a friend who tried it and they convinced me to give it a try, so I took the leap. It is a bit difficult at first but hang in there, it get's much easier with each test. It will give you numbers after only 3 complete tests but I took a few more just to be sure. So after 5 days of waiting for my new glasses to arrive, I cannot begin to tell you how amazed I am. I have not been able to see this good since my childhood. I think the reason... read more

Was skeptical, like most of you.. but it worked! Ordered late Oct and just getting to this- but wanted to share that this product works, and as advertised. I used it and got my prescription numbers, as well as the PD number which I’ve never heard of , and punched that into Zennioptical, just a random online eyewear website to purchase new glasses with my new prescription. They came in less than a week, and when I put these glasses on with the prescription that the app and device gave me? Fantastic! Never seen clearer before.... read more

It actually works I went to an optometrist a few years back and didn't enjoy the experience or the prescription I received, but I was able to see some things more clearly. I deal with neck pain from leaning toward my computer screen, and I saw this device here on Amazon. I ran the practice test and 5 more tests and ordered three pairs of cheap glasses to test the prescription. The distance lenses are amazing, the intermediate "computer" lenses are amazing. The reading glasses are a little off with this set of tests, so I wil... read more

Not easy to use but remarkably accurate I recently had a bad experience at the optometrist, and knew the new prescription was off. I've used up my eye exam for the year, and frankly, wasn't that interested in going to another right away. I saw this, instead, and thought: what the heck. It isn't that expensive. It is tricky to figure out. I discovered that you might have to look into the eye piece at a slight angle until you can see both the red and green bar. And moving to the next test was difficult, until I figure out the ... read more

Works, but requires patience and effort. I have had a fairly consistent prescription for the past 6 years, and this device did return some numbers near (but not exact) to what my typical prescription would be as found in the Dr's office. I ordered glasses between my typical prescription and eyeque result and can see nicely through them. You have to hold your head *just* right to see the red and green lines simultaneously, and even then small movements would change their alignment or make one disappear. Making the alignment l... read more
