I transferred over to FABEN (Riverplace Blvd location) 20 weeks pregnant at 40 years old. They took me in when many others would not even consider it. I have only been seeing this group for 2 years but I hope I have found my doctor group for life! Walking into their offices is like entering a spa. They have clearly invested in classy, comfy interiors that cater to women in every way. I feel “heard” in the spaces without anybody even talking yet! Clean and friendly office staff. However, first time in couple years I have been at a obgyn. A thorough exam was not performed. Dr. Hicks did not ask any detailed question regarding my previous medical history nor seemed to be very motivated to evaluate me. I had to ask for a Pap smear. Since she wanted to do it at another appointment. Breast exam was completely skipped. I am sure insurance companies pay good money for each visit.

Called on Monday afternoon to schedule a papsmear, they had an appointment the next morning so I scheduled it. Woke up to my dog puking and pooping blood all over the house and an emergency vet appointment was needed. There was no way I could make a 9am appointment and called to reschedule. Was told that I would be charged $50 for not giving 24 hours notice. I hadn't even had the appointment for 24 hours so that is a ridiculous statement. This practice is wonderful. I went in for my second annual visit today- the check in process was so easy and the nurse was friendly and welcoming. My provider was kind and patient and asked lots of questions and seemed very caring and thorough. The office is beautiful and they give you nice robes to change into, I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Brittany Mason is phenomenal!! Front desk associates are also very kind. Such a great atmosphere. They make you feel very comfortable. I was so scared my first time going here & the way I was treated, I was perfectly fine by the end! Now going doesn’t even bother me! :)
