The sales department has always been a joy. The service department has been a nightmare. They have had my 2018 Expedition for 12 weeks waiting on a rack and pinion. I was given a Ford Escape after 10 weeks as a "courtesy". My family cannot fit in this vehicle and I can't take them on our scheduled vacation NOR can pull out boat to the lake. My vehicle facilitates my family's standard of living and I have never been so frustrated or embarrassed to work with Ford.

Jarod, As you know your vehicle was waiting at a different business for a back ordered part. As much as we would like to think supply chain issues are over, we are still dealing with them in our store on a daily basis. We do not give service loaners to people who are not in our service shop. Service. We were broke down 14 hours from home and stuck outside of town in a hotel. Asked about a rental or Courtesy car, were told we don't have anything. No offers to help us, told to haul it back home. Called around the area and found a wonderful dealership that took our vehicle in on trade, and had us on the road in 6 hours.

I am so sorry we couldn’t help you out last week. We did squeeze you into our transmission guys schedule (who is 8 weeks out) to see if we could complete a small fix to get you back on the road. When we found out it would be a major transmission repair that would take weeks to complete we tried to help work you through the process. I took my 2017 Ford escape in because the windshield wipers were acting funny! in return the tech busted my windshield! they didn't stand behind their tech and didn't replace my windshield I had too. after several attempts to get it fixed threw them I ended up fixing it because winter is coming. I will never ever recommend them for any repairs or car buying to anyone. As we have discussed multiple times, the day we fixed your vehicle, my technician drove it in, noticed the crack, he stopped got the service adviser to take a photo. when needing service work, suggest you check with an independent shop. Parts at Fairmont Ford cost much more than what you see on line pricing and the labor charges are excessive. No problems with the quality but the repair work will cost less elsewhere with an independent shop.
