Pictures are not accurate. The dome was in rough shape, fake plant falling apart, zipper didn’t work to close up. Had full intentions on sleeping out there but woke up to voices, people ran out of gas and ended up partying until someone showed up. Woke up again to more people talking and running down the road this happened around 1:00 am. I was hoping to spend the night under the stars. One key point of confusion was that the theater room is not inside the home but is a separate building off the patio, which wasn’t clear from the listing. However, the main issue was the lack of cleanliness and maintenance. this stay in Joshua Tree was really lovely for the most part. all of the amenities were very nice and we loved having access to a washer/dryer with the super hot weather. some details in the space were a bit disappointing - there was some broken glass on the rocks, a few nails dangerously jutting out of the deck, and the door to the dome doesn’t shut. also, the hammock chair hardware stripped out of the wooded ceiling and I was dropped onto the concrete resulting in pain for the duration. the host did respond to me but did n... read more
