I ordered the burger and onion rings. The burger was a little bland (had to add salt), but overall, quality meat and toppings. Onion rings were just okay and at $3.49 a bit overpriced. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff as well. Also, a nice little outside dining area in a very quaint area of downtown Decatur.
I ordered online March 10, 2024. The app receipt says order #35. I found some metal contraption in my chicken burger. I’m not sure how it ended up in my food - I can only assume it was due to some carelessness by the people who handle the food in the kitchen. I’m really disappointed because I trusted this location to be a clean, safe restaurant to order pick up. Now I’m not so sure. Make it right.
I generally dislike having to order (and tip) prior to sitting and being served. This place is no different, although I will say the staff was very polite and welcoming. We ordered, tipped based on 45 seconds of interaction, and took a seat at the window. Kale slaw was amazing, and our food came out quickly. My burger was good, and my wife enjoyed her hush puppies and salad with burger toppings. Minus one star due to ordering before you sit down, so annoying!
Nice spot to have a lunch date. You can taste the quality in the meat n the cheese, which was a nice surprise. My husband n I will be back to try something different than what we had this time.
