We have a 16 year-old cat that we were sure had kidney failure. Weight loss, no appetite, and we were afraid we were going to lose her. Dr. Drinkard was fabulous with a fantastic bedside manner. He explained the tests he wanted to perform and then fully explained the results which indicated an infection/virus instead of kidney failure. I can't say enough good things about Faulkville Animal Hospital. The physician and the staff were both pleasant and very knowledgeable. We recently moved here from NY, and was referred to another vet in Pooler (which I will not name.). The first thing they mentioned at the other vet was their price list, then the doctor came in and never introduced herself. All in all, a bad experience. When they were smaller, they were more efficient, caring, and courteous. Whenever you call, it is rare to actually get a person to answer. I was waiting with my pet and a call came in. The clerk picked up the phone and said, "hold please". She was not on another line and there was nobody at the desk waiting for service so there was no reason to ask that person to hold. I have been taking my dogs to Faulkville Animal Hospital for over a year now and I am very satisfied with their services. One pup was old and they treated her for congestive heart failure due to a failing valve. They were thorough and compassionate in their treatment of her. More recently, I brought our new pup to them for neutering and removal of several retained baby teeth. Whenever we call or go in with one of our dogs - we always feel like being with family. Always friendly & professional. Always ready to listen to our concerns. We highly recommend Faulkville Animal hospital. Nothing better than family ! !
Top notch. We have been taking our pets here for several years. We had used other Veterinarians in the area and have no complaints, but Faulkville was recommended by a friend. They take excellent care of us and our animals. I usually don't do reviews but I feel very strongly about Faulkville Animal Hospital. I would gladly recommend them to anyone seeking a local vet.
I love Faulkeville Animal Hospital! The staff is amazing and take great care with the animals providing for their safety and comfort. We have been there in not so happy times with one of our pets and they have gone above and beyond in comforting us in our time of grief and mourning. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a good veterinarian hospital.
This place has a HORRIBLE office manager! Rude and dismissive. She actually told me that she would rather loose my business than not charge me for a follow up appointment that I DID NOT MAKE, but was told I had to have. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE from the office manager!! I am floored that this woman has kept this business running. The physical status of the building is in great question also.
