My wife and I were extremely happy with our experience with Dr. Weiss. He walked us through the process at each step and made sure to answer any questions we had. He was very professional and smart, but also very personable and spoke in layman's terms when appropriate, which I know I appreciated. He ultimately helped us conceive on our first attempt and we are now almost 7 months pregnant expecting our first baby girl! I would highly recommend Dr. Weiss to all my friends and family!
Great Doctor! She seems to really care for her patients and gets the job done! Listens to you and is always there to answer your questions
Every other egg retrieval I have had has been very comfortable and yielded better results. First Dr. Weiss was late due to traffic. Then, with Dr. Weiss, I had the worst yield out of all of my cycles, despite ultrasounds showing the best results out of any cycle and more than double what my yield was after he performed my retrieval surgery - all mature. When I asked him what happened he just repeated over and over that “it was routine.” And afterwords I was in a TON of pain. Pain that I didn’t experience from any other cycle... read more
Dr. Weiss did my egg retrieval procedure. During a previous ER I experienced severe pain afterwards. Normally, they just tell you to take Motrin post procedure so I asked to speak with Dr. Weiss ahead of time about my previous experience. He was surprisingly dismissive of my concerns and said that hopefully it would be different this time. I said I didn't want to rely on hope as a strategy and asked if I could please have a prescription for something. For context, I have no personal or family history of addiction, outside of... read more
I had two virtual meetings with Dr. Weiss both of which lasted about 10 min. He would not listen to the fact that my family has a significant history of infertility, and he was very condescending to me. He diagnosed me with PCOS before any testing was done. I requested my medical records and his notes stated my results suggested I had PCOS, even though I have no signs/symptoms and my test results showed no sign of PCOS. After a little research, I found articles written by him all about PCOS, which confirmed my opinion that h... read more
Poor quality of care. Dismissive of patient’s concerns, treats you like a walking statistic
We started our infertility journey with Dr. Vitiello. While she appears knowledgeable, we felt like we were just $ signs. She would not fully inform of us our options, threw us right into IVF without trying IUI or clomid first, and when I had a miscarriage 3 wks after a FET, Dr. Vitiello's voicemail she left me was "have a good cry, have a glass of wine, and get your nails done." The nursing team is rude. It broke my heart to have a Dr. who is not in-tune with the emotions of this process.
Only met him during initial contact. His nurses do all communicating and we never saw him again. He lied and told us my husband's SA was "perfect" and after 4 failed Clomid Timed Intercourse cycles, we asked for medical records and saw that he had a 95% abnormal morphology. We went through a lot of heartache, emotional and physical stress with the fertility medications for absolutely nothing. I would NEVER recommend him.
Both times I called with abdominal pain she brushed me off as not reproductive issues. after work up with PCP I got sent to Boston for reproductive complications
