I was approved for a loan then was told I wasn't. I got approved through Sandia area financial services and at a better rate. Thinking about moving my entire banking with them? Only thing holding me back is I'm Local to las cruces.

First bad experience I have ever had with Firstlight in 15 years. They have become like all the other banks and corporations. I have had multiple vehicles with firstlight and my mortgage. Never once have I missed a payment in 15 years on anything. Recently I applied for a vehicle loan and was pre approved for 10K+ more than what i was asking. The vehicle I was looking to purchase was valued at 65K and I asked for 40K. They initially approved me for the loan until they saw the mileage on it. It did not fall within their ridic... read more
