We had Flaherty's replace our wood floors after water damage from our icemaker. With the open concept of our home and wood floors in the kitchen, we had to replace the flooring in adjoining rooms as well. Flaherty's was able to give us a product we loved at a price that would allow us to extend the wood floors into three more rooms - making the entire downstairs hard surface. Showroom staff was extremely knowledgeable and helped select appropriate flooring for the room. Patrick, the owner, came out to the house to do the measurements. Will not get into the details here, but I had strict requirements as to when the work needed to be done, and the scheduling people moved things around to meet my dates. The workers assigned to the job were very professional and considerate. The job was to remove old carpet, and cover the concrete slab and adjacent tiled floor with laminate flooring. My experience with Flaherty's was terrific. I had new ceramic tile put in through out the house by another contractor, but want carpet in my bedroom. They suggested creating a rug from carpet that fit wall to wall so I wouldn't damage the existing tile. I LOVE it. It just happens to be square because of the shape of my room, which gives me the option of rotating it as the rug wears.
