Great service! This is a bit of a drive for me but it was worth it. The people are so friendly and knowledgeable. I was having trouble finding a frame I liked, and Sherri, who helped me, listened to what I was looking for and found a perfect frame for me. I am so happy with my new glasses! I have a very strong prescription, but you wouldn't know it by looking at my glasses; the "coke bottle" thickness I used to be resigned to, along with the weight, is gone. My daughter had retinopathy of prematurity surgery (thank goodness or she would have been blind) and is extremely near sighted (-11.50, -15.50). Dale’s the man and Fluegge’s Optical is the place! If you live quite a distance from Waterford, get in your car and start driving. Fluegge’s Optical is by far the BEST eye glass store I’ve ever been in for help to resolve optical migraines ,dry eyes and finding that special pair of frames. This place rocks!! I took a pair of sunglasses that the nose piece had come off & I thought I would have to throw the glasses away up to Fluegge & they repaired them for me no charge! While I waited there for the repair there was no high pressure sales tactics to try & get me to buy a new pair. This was my first experience with them & I left with a great impression that I will remember for a long time! If you need prescription or sunglasses I would highly recommend them.
I have been purchasing an obscene amount of eyewear from Fluegge for a long time. They have a selection of frames that starts at the mundane and goes all the way to the are you kidding. I have even brought one of my favorite frames that had been sitting in a drawer for forever, a memory of exciting times, that I refused to let go of even though no one would touch "because the acrylic was brittle" and Dale and his crew took them and replaced the lens without a second thought or a first comment. I got sick of cheap plastic Rx inserts in my golf and shooting glasses. Finally decided to take the plunge and invest in real Rx glasses for these sports. Looked at various online providers marketing to these sports, and came to the conclusion that this only makes sense if I can try on the frames and see the real McCoy in person. I have been getting My Glasses from Fluegge Optical for over 25 Years now. I met Dale Fluegge once ………….. Ever sense I Get my RX. Fax it to Fluegge Optical in Waterford . He picks out a frame for me fills the Rx. and Sends it to me in Virginia...………… I don't even have to go there. He is the Best. I have Never been Unhappy with any thing he has ever sent.
