University of Advancing Technology (UAT) is a hidden gem for tech lovers. Innovative programs, supportive faculty, and a campus full of creativity. Perfect place to turn passion into profession. Highly recommend!
I don't think this school fits everyone but for students looking for a smaller university and tech. This fits the bill and everyone on site was super friendly.
UAT partnered with NSync Community Development Corporation (our non profit) for a week long STEAM camp for at-risk students grades 4th-9th. UAT generously provided residential housing and chef made meals for 12 students and 5 adults in our program during our camp week. Our students resided in a university campus dorms for the first time. They enjoyed the entire experience! What a great time our students, staff, volunteers, instructors and parents had!!! Thank you UAT for providing an awesome "college life" experience for ... read more

My son and I have been so impressed with the staff at UAT that we sent them letters telling them so. We appreciated the warm welcome, well-coordinated incoming events, personable staff and flexibility for students. The communications throughout the year have been great as a parent back here in Minnesota. The logical response to the unprecedented demands for Covid19 included thoughtful adjustments for the residence hall, school operations and courses. My son received support and accommodations for ADHD, anxiety and depressio... read more
UAT has gone above and beyond to assist my son this semester! Our son is on the Autism spectrum, he's 24 years old and has had many people tell him he would never accomplish much in life. UAT is a dream come true for him and us as parents. The professors are extremely helpful and understanding, and the student services department has truly gone out of their way to make sure our son is successful! They honor his accommodations without hesitation, and check in with him each week. If you have a child on the spectrum that has a ... read more
The people at UAT make all the difference. They are highly intelligent with real-world experience, and they honestly care about the success of their students. If you want to be ready for the real world when you graduate, check out UAT for your degree.
I love the staff and faculty at UAT. They are crazy intelligent and helpful. I have worked here for several years and have found the people here to be fun, smart and caring. Everyone bends over backwards to help our students succeed and to assist each other. It is a great place to work, a great place to go to school and is full of a great group of people. I feel very fortunate to work here and to get to spend time with amazing students, staff and faculty every day.
Thank you, UAT and sponsors for hosting 24 HR CODE DAY for youth. My son had a great time. The "Coding Pit" at the Commons was cool. It was so great to see so many young techies from 12 years to 25 years meet up to work on Coding Projects. The campus was small but designed beautiful to promote collaboration and teamwork. There were many areas with outlets and places where one could plug in and play or work. The cafeteria was modest in size but seemed to have adequate vending options and line food. I heard that if you were... read more
