Dr. Boettner is a very skilled Surgeon. Dr. Boettner performed two complex total hip replacement surgeries within 7 weeks apart. He was able to successfully correct my childhood chronic bilateral hip dysplasia, Osteoarthritis, short leg and other issues resulting from the prior surgery. Even though it's only 5 weeks after the 2nd surgery but range of motion within my joints is so much better. My both legs are the same length. Had a total knee replacement of my right knee in March of 2020 by Dr. Boettner and I was skiing the following January. Just had my left knee replaced by Dr. Boettner and all is well! Looking forward to getting back into the deep Utah powder by December. I can’t give enough thanks to Dr. Boettner, his staff, and the staff at HSS for their great work! I am so grateful to Dr. Boettner. He did my hip replacement 6 yrs ago and my knee replacement 2 months ago both with excellent results. With each procedure he listened to my concerns and put my mind at ease. Post knee surgery he even sent follow-up videos which reassured me that I was on track with where I needed to be. Dr. Boettner, his staff and team at HSS made each surgery such a positive experience. He is an expert in his field and I wholeheartedly recommend him and HSS to everyone.
Dr. Boettner is a wonderful doctor. He prepared me for surgery using online reminders and followed up that way as well. His office is always responsive. I thought my care was great.
I had right hip replacement surgery over one year ago. Dr Boettner suggested surgery from my first visit, due to bone on bone. I waited several months but the pain became worse. The surgery went well. Had surgery in morning, and left in the afternoon. I was actually walking long distances after 2 weeks, but was instructed to take a slower rehabilitation process. The Doctor was always available to answer my questions after surgery, even nights and weekends. My hip feels great! Highly recommend Dr Boettner for hip replacement.
