Finally got around to the "right time" to have my hip fixed. Dr Boettner did an awesome job on my left hip resurface. While I have often found specialists to be lacking in their bedside manner, Dr Boettner was as good as it gets. His PA on the other hand could use some work. Since we're being honest:) Looking forward to getting my 1 year update, releasing me to my own devices. The entire HSS experience (with exception noted above) was AMAZING! It was more than worth the headache of interstate travel.
i had a total knee replacement on my right side. After 4 weeks, my right knee is pain free, albeit still swollen. i look forward to having Dr. Boettner do my left knee in a few months.
Returned to Dr Boettner practice for replacement "right" Hip Surgery after having replacement "left" Hip Surgery completed a few years ago. I have the highest respect for Dr Boettner, his staff, HSS hospital, nurses, and rehab staff. I have and will continue to give recommendations for using Dr Boettner and HSS. Thank you !!!!
Had my 1 year visit with Dr. Boettner. Everything is perfect. Walking normal and no pain. Really a great guy and never rushes you at all in exam room. He is a godsend to me. I was living with so much hip pain over a year ago with a cane to walk and now its pain free. If my other hip goes I will only have him replace it. Thank you.
Dr Boettner is an excellent surgeon . He is kind compassionate and knows what he is doing. After 10 years of pain I now feel great. I highly recommend Dr. Boettner and I am so glad I had my total hip replacement done. It was worth the trip into New York City from southern New Jersey. The Hospital for Special Surgery and Dr. Boettner were the best choices for me!
Total knee replacement
Dr Boettner is without a doubt one of the most highly skilled surgeons anywhere. Had my hip replaced, was walking a few hours after the surgery and have been little or pain free ever since. The worst part of the surgery was the ride home for over an hour the next day. Bottom line Dr. Boettner is one of the top surgeons and I couldn’t be any happier.
Dr. Freidrich Boettner & Hospital for Special Surgery are the “A” team when considering total joint replacements of knee and hip. 100% rating. Dr. Boettner and his entire team are beyond excellent. HSS entire staff is the same. Cannot recommend highly enough- these people are as good as it gets. Did one hip last year and the other this year.
