I was very impressed with all the hands on. I was given instructions for before surgery and after.
Incredible doctor who was nothing but professional. I highly recommend anyone thinking about a hip operation consult with Dr. Boettner and consider him as their first choice. His team is also first rate -- from the nurses to the anesthesiologist. He operated on both my hips and I am not walking and exercising without any pain. I could not have asked for better results.
I went to Dr. Boettner at my wife's urging (he did a knee replacement for her 2 years ago, which is perfect now, and she thinks he walks on water). I took a nasty fall 5 months ago; damaged MCL,PCL, and meniscus in my knee. I've seen both my Primary Care physician and a local Orthopedist (I live on the East End of Long Island). Very Experienced and successful surgery done on total hip replacement.
Dr. Boettner did my hip repacement surgery in September 2011 and I feel great after suffering from arthritis that limited my activities because of the pain. I am now pain free and walking normally and exercising thanks to Dr. Boettner.
Dr. Boettner is an excellent surgeon and very informative! It's been 3 mos since my total knee replacement and I feel great I am walking, shopping and have my life back. Looking forward to doing the second knee with Dr. Boettner. Dr.Boettner and his staff are wonderful! I want to stop every person on the street with knee pain and tell them to see Dr.Boettner!!
37yo male with an impingement in my hip. Dr. Boettner knew exactly what was wrong, what to do about it, was honest about the possibility for a full recovery, sat with my and explained everything, even drawing pictures for me. A great doctor. The best I have ever visited. He did my surgery and told me recovery time would be about 9 months. Now, 13 months after the surgery, I feel like a new man ... pain free and thankful I found Dr. Boettner. Do not be dissuaded by the negative reviews.
Dr. Boettner is awesome. He is an extremely competent surgeon and compassionate person. He did my hip surgery and while I hope I never get another injury that requires surgery, if I did I'd go right back to him.
Very happy with the results of my total knee replacement. Dr Boettner is a wonderful surgeon and is available to answer any questions. The office staff is also very helpful.
