Overall everything he was there for me from the start all the way to the end and even now customer service is very important most people companies do not care about customer service like they used to ammar at Frost is a great acid to frost and to customer service I will let everyone I know how Amara at Frost treated me

The process took too long in the context of rapid interest rate increases. I asked for a lock-in but there was pushback on doing this. I ended up paying 5.6% after being charged 2,5 % in points. With a lock in at the time requested I would have had a rate of 4,5%. This ended up costing me thousands of extra dollars over the life of the loan. I am not sure if Ammar could have done better since circumstances may have been beyond his control however I feel that I paid more than I should have.

Ammar was just excellent and if it was not for him, I am not sure when this deal would have closed. However, overall experience with Frost Mortgage, I probably would never use them again. The communication through out the process was so-so and tagging on the unexpected extension charges in the end was just not warranted. In business, ethics and integrity are important and that's where Frost lost my business.
