These guys are solid! We had engine troubles on our trip to California, and we we're lucky to find this shop. Nick and Shea literally dropped everything to help us out! Got the problem correctly diagnosed, repaired in a day, and sent us back out on the road smiling. If you have truck issues, these are the people to go to. This is the kind of service that gives auto shops a good name (yes, I know that's backwards...)

My story, we drove a 2002 F350 with camper on a 7-day road trip from Oregon to Utah through the basin and range area of Nevada. Over the tenth mountain range the transmission overheated. A new transmission was required, and we were in Ely, Nevada. We limped into Salt Lake City and got a recommendation from a local transmission shop to contact G and R Diesel. There is customer support, and then there is CUSTOMER SUPPORT! G & R Diesel is the 2nd! I went in to get my F350 6.7 looked at and WOW! Did they treat me right! Talk about a knowledgeable staff and front desk. It was great to see a receptionist know a thing or two about trucks! My next service will be at G & R Diesel.... and the next..... and the next!
Have been here many times from major motor repairs to a/c issues and have never left disappointed. HONEST, QUALITY WORK. They are always booked out but very much worth the wait for the best mechanic shop around. Kind of place that will save you money without cutting corners while 99% of other shops will bs you into doing stuff that is not necessary.
Direct and know their stuff. Helped me avoid so much unnecessary costs from the dealers.
Needed new injectors for my truck. Their service was amazing. They let me know what was happening on my truck as they were working on it. Ended up needing more work done to it to get it up and running again. I highly recommend them for any one that has a Diesel truck.
Recently purchased a 2006 Chevrolet Duramax. I had the guys at G&R install EFI live with a CP5 selector switch. They also installed the Edge insight monitor and 4 inch exaust. All the work was done with very high quality. When I picked up the truck they took extra time to explain the controller and to answer any questions I had. The cost of the work matched the quote that they gave me. I highly recommend G&R to any one who needs work done on a diesel vehicle.
This company has been AWESOME! We bought a diesel that turned out to be a big fat LEMON. G & R helped us not only diagnose and get prices to fix the issue, but also were very patient with us while we waited on the dealership to decide what they were going to do. I think their prices are fair, their people are excellent, and their shop clean! I will go back to them again for my diesel!
