RecommendedAbsolutely loved my stay at The Gable House Bed and Breakfast in Durango! From the moment I arrived, owners Tracie and Charlie made me feel incredibly welcome. RecommendedWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gable House. Any easy walk to downtown Durango and Silverton train. The rooms were large. We had a balcony and our own ensuite bathroom. It was very quiet and we enjoyed meeting the other guests at breakfast ( which were very tasty!) Our host, Heather, was very helpful and informative. We will go back!
RecommendedWe stayed in Gable House for an enjoyable and extremely comfortable 3 nights. I am usually hesitant to stay in older historic homes, as they tend to be stuffy, dusty, dark and just old. Heather, the owner, has carefully restored Gable House over many years creating an interior that is very nice, clean and airy with light wood floors and trim, and an esoteric collection of pictures and art objects scattered throughout the house. RecommendedGable house is such a delight. The care and respect that Heather puts into the home is apparent. We felt welcome as soon as we walked in the door, wish we could have stayed longer. The house is absolutely beautiful as are the yard and gardens surrounding the home. On our next visit to Durango it is a place we would definitely stay again.
