Thank You to all the staff at Gables. For the excellent professional care you all provided. Thank you for all the flowers we received, it was truly thoughtful. I will recommend this facility to everyone because of the care given to our mother.
When I arrived at Gables, I wasn't sure if I would be returning home. Everyone was kind, nice, helpful and always encouraged me. They came when I needed helped . My stay at Gables not only helped me physically but it helped me emotionally which is what I needed. I can now walk laps around the building and was not able to get out of bed the first few days there.
It has been over a month now since we lost our Patriarch Oreste DiLoreto, every day I think of him and remember the amazing care he received at The Gables..every staff member treated him like family..it is never easy to put the care of a loved one in others hands..but even through current staffing crisis nation wide, they shine every day, I can't even begin to explain how amazing that is, especially since I as well am a frontline healthcare worker and I know exactly how rough it is...yall are super stars! I just wanted to take a minute to thank Michelle and the staff at Gables. They have been very helpful and easy to contact anytime I have had questions. I greatly appreciate the communication when I can not be there in person. I was so impressed to see all the staff and supervisors/managers all jump in and assist when rearranging patients and rooms due to all the Covid positive patients. I think Gables is a wonderful place. I feel this way because everyone works together so well and it makes things easier with my stay.
Gables is a good place to be if you need to get stronger to return home. The staff are very personable and they take good care of me, I also like the food.
This is Paula’s sister writing this review. I recommended Gables because several years ago my mother-in-law was in rehab for broken hip. Our experience was good at that time. However this time I was extremely displeased to find that my sister had to wait 90 min to be taken to the bathroom. At one time her meds were left in her room unattended while she was at OT. She was placed in a geriatric wing. Staffing was definitely short on people. Food supply on certain items was unavailable. While most of the staff were pleasant a... read more
The therapy team in addition to all the staff is absolutely wonderful. I have worked for GCC for a very long time and there was no question for me about where to go for rehab after my surgery. Going from an employee to a resident was a big change but the building runs smooth all the way around. I love my Gables family.
