Thank you for the care and compassion for our dog Ranger during his recent illness. The clinic was efficient and staff understanding as we detailed what was happening with him. He is now on the mend and back to his normal self. Will definitely use this clinic again when we are in need. 5 stars in our book.
Our pets have been patients at GVC since we moved to Galveston in 2018. We have always received an exceptional level of care, particularly from Dr. Ian Konsker. Dr. Konsker became our doctor of choice after he diagnosed our cat with Legg-Calvé-Perthes Disease, an uncommon condition in cats. He is extremely kind and competent and has seen all six of our animals in addition to several fosters (in a variety of conditions). Dr. Konsker is very loved and appreciated by our family.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, Dr Ian saw my pup, and I loved how he treated my little guy! I was a walk in, and I was worked in pretty quickly. I’m so happy to have found this clinic!!!
Love the staff and especially the doctors. They don’t price gouge and only do what’s necessary. They have a great bedside manner with pets. My dog loves them even though it’s not always a pleasant procedure. Highly recommend them!

Can’t recommend this clinic enough…all of the Dr’s are amazing! They do everything to ease my anxiety as well as my pets. Worth driving from Dickinson to Galveston!

I have been using Galveston Veterinary Clinic for several years for both of my senior Shepherds. We recently had to rush one of them in due to severe blood loss and the entire staff jumped into action and Dr. Knupple was able to save his life and get him stabilized. By Friday we had our scheduled surgery that had been planned with Dr. Andree. I am honestly so grateful to this entire team for caring for my fur babies. 1st visit I was unsure, the vet was scared of my dog Lucy. 2nd visit my Lucy met her new friend Kat. Kat meets us at the door every time and my Lucy loves her. If you have a pitty, this place is awesome! My dog is excited every time she goes. Even when visits include Staples and stitches! I'm so glad I chose this clinic for our new vet!
