I have always had a problem here. It's never a good month living at the GCV. When there is something wrong and you put a request form in, it always takes forever and a day to even get someone to look at it; not including that it may not even be fixed when they do decide to show up. I've been charged with overages ever single month since I've lived here for power. My ac was broke with a hole in the closet of my apartment for three months and I was sweating in my apartment. ALERT TO ALL RESIDENTS AND PARENTS!!!: This morning my daughter found that her car had been broken into overnight as it sat parked in the parking lot of Gamecock Village. The Jacksonville police dept told our daughter this is a REGULAR problem at Gamecock Village. The officer explained that thieves use a wireless device to cruise through the parking lot and look for cars that react to the device (think of your car lights blinking when you use your remote key). What kind of abysmal apartment complex changes the lock on someone's room while they're gone without leaving them a key or letting anyone know? The least professional and least reliable apartment complex I have ever seen. Stay way away from this place.

I loved it when I first moved in, but this past semester we have had so many problems that haven't been solved no matter how many times we talk to them about it. And it's very ridiculous that 2 of my friends that live here as well have gotten their cars towed �

It sucks. They never fix anything and the over charges are lethal. Too expensive, too.

So many things messed up with the rooms and when we tell them about it they kinda blow it off. Our front door lock is messed up so we can't lock it. When we do lock it its to hard to use a key and will break it plus you are locked in the apartment. When I asked them to look at it they struggled just as hard but finally got it and told us that we have to keep the lock because it still "works"
