I met some nice people here during my stay at Garden Gate, it was a nice experience for me. The nurses were very good and came to know me well. I was able to participate in fun activities like Garden Gates annual Garden walk with my children and there was even a car show during my stay. They also offered extra therapy and had a library in the activities room to keep me occupied. The therapy team was the best part! I chose Garden Gate because it was close to home and my mother in law stayed here in the past. I came in with a hip fracture and I am able to walk out using a walker after a few short weeks. The therapy team here really knows what they are doing! I really liked that the aides were very gentle and understanding to meet my needs and never rushed me. I would recommend Garden Gate if you ever needed a Rehab stay!

I work in the health care field and had my mother in a rehab facility, when she was sent out to the hospital Buffalo General referred us to Garden Gate to continue her rehab. I immediately seen a big improvement from the previous place she was in. The dietitians worked with her to gain weight and her mental state began to improve. I really like that I was greeted by staff as soon as I arrived. The therapy team here is like one big family, they do service with a smile! They are so patient and step in for one another when needed. I wasn't sure if I would be able to do some of the things they were asking of me when I first came in, but they encouraged me and I was able to use the 5lb weights and they taught me how to straighten my leg which I will continue to do at home. I was seen by Buffalo Medical Group at Sisters Hospital who referred me to Garden Gate Rehab Facility so they could continue to track my care, I arrived after 5 PM and had dinner waiting for me. The aides and nurses were all so kind and ready to help,even when you didn't ask for it. Therapy was motivating and got me back to doing stairs again. Unfortunately I've been in a lot of rehab facilities but Garden Gate has been the best. I really enjoyed the meals here, and send a blessing to the cook! I liked working with the therapy team here and the nurses and aides were all very friendly and nice. I showed up not feeling well, but I'm leaving feeling great again! Thank you Garden Gate, I would highly recommend this place.

I chose Garden Gate for my rehab stay because my mother stayed here in the past and received excellent care. The nursing staff was friendly and professional, the aides were comforting and provided wonderful care. Everyone was nicer then the next! The therapy team gave me the push I needed, I will be able to keep up with my grandchildren again!

My first impression coming through the front doors was that the place is very clean, there is no odor you tend to expect when you think of a "nursing home." I stayed for rehab and the therapy team was great. They are firm but fun and very motivational, it was just what I needed! Charles was basically written off at the hospital, If it wasn't for Garden Gate he wouldn't be going home! The therapy team here is full of patient people, they are always smiling and looking to help improve the patients condition. The nutritionist were very helpful and got him on a good meal plan, he was gaining weight again in no time. His health was every ones main goal and concern.
