I came to garden gate from the VA hospital at 3:30am, the nurse Heidi came to my assistance right away to put me at ease and make sure I was comfortable!

I came here in so much pain and didn't know what to expect. The staff put me right at ease, everyone was so kind. The physical therapist we're outstanding, they knew when I was getting tired and wouldn't push me. They were very gentle. I hope to come back for out-patient therapy. The nurses went beyond their duty and were so caring, the aid's too. I don't have a single complaint about my stay at garden gate!

The nurses and aids are very caring and compassionate, everyone goes above and beyond their job position to help out the residents and each other. I had a double knee surgery and the physical therapy and occupational therapy staff went above and beyond to get me back on my feet, it was great to see them work as a team everyday and keep the atmosphere light.

Garden Gate is a place to be discovered, my surgeon favored this facility. I currently reside at Brookdale Orchard Glen, the personnel and kindness of the workers here make me feel right at home. I feel like my every concern is important to whom ever answers my call bell, the patient really does come first! I really enjoyed the activities here like bingo, concerts, and learned a lot of arts and crafts as a group. I learned to paint and learned how to arrange a bouquet. I liked all the people running the activities room, they taught me a lot I will be able to continue to do at home.

I was able to invite my book club for a lunch-in outside in the garden area during my stay here and keep up my social activities, we were offered beverages for the meeting. The staff was very accommodating!

I was very comfortable here and recovered well. I was pleased to see familiar faces in staffing from my stay three years ago and the staff also remembered me!
