Tips for Gem Shopping customers It takes a while to figure out how the program and purchases work. Be aware that a hold will be put on your card when you make a purchase but that a "real" charge is only made when the item ships. My only strong caution is that I would recommend that you NOT have any sizing done by the company. If you like an item and buy it, let it come to you without any alterations. Ms. I have ordered many pieces over the last year and a half. All have arrived promptly, well packaged and with appraisals, when appropriate. I was only dissapointed with a "grab bag" of small loose sapphires. All the jewelery has been better than discussed on air, when it arrives in person. I have spoken with customers service about shipping notices and everything has been exceptional. I will continue to be a buying client! And in the comfort of my own home! k.
