Dr.Slivka was amazing during the whole process. He explained everything well and all questions always answered. He was great with my teenage son and straight forward with requirements. Always telling a joke and super friendly. Highly recommend him! His team was always great! Santos is amazing as well! Thanks for everything!!

I went to Dr. Slivka to talk about my TMJ, after having braces on for a short period of time I noticed a big difference in my TMJ symptoms. Very early in my treatment I was no longer afraid of opening my mouth to brush my teeth, the fear of opening and having my jaw lock up, or feeling pain was gone.

I came to Dr. Slivka and his team for help with my orthodontic treatment and was absolutely astonished by there work. They always took time to ask me about my day and were very kind. Treatment wise they made sure I was always informed about the status of my treatment. It was absolutely amazing to see the changes in my teeth that he directed and some moments that I will never forget. Grinding my teeth since I was little has turned into TMJ over the years. My jaw was always sore from grinding. Mouth guards didn’t help and eventually fluid started building up in my ears. I went to an ear nose throat specialist and was told to see a TMJ specialist. I put it off until I woke up one morning and the right side of my jaw was locked open and the pain was excruciating. My son was seen by the dentist/orthodontics many times for his teeth prior to seeing Dr. Slivka. The other doctors recommended for my son to wait to start braces due to his age (almost 8 at the time) despite his x-rays showing his molars coming in sideways due to compacted space in his mouth. I first met Dr.Slivka a few years after a very poor experience with another orthodontist. I had been left with a misaligned bite after years of Invisalign and afterwards was told by that orthodontist I should have initially gone with traditional braces and my expectations were unrealistic. Eating meat always resulted in jaw discomfort and I had migraines three or four times a week.
