I recently had a root canal performed by Dr. Begotka, and it was honestly one of the best dental experiences I've ever had. He clearly explained what to expect, including possible complications, and walked me through the entire procedure. He took his time, was incredibly gentle, and I felt no discomfort at all. A special shoutout to his assistant, Isaac—he was engaged the whole time and had excellent chair-side manner. Three strikes — I’m OUT. STRIKE ONE: It started at the front desk. Amanda overcharged me $545 for a crown, even though I had plenty of insurance benefits remaining. She insisted I owed the amount. After sitting in the chair for two hours, I didn’t feel like arguing, so I paid—assuming I’d be refunded once insurance cleared. It took THREE months and numerous calls and emails after insurance paid for them to finally return my $545.
