This was my first time going to see the monster truck jam with my son and although the show was excellent the treatment and parking at the dome was horrible. I have never paid $40 for parking even when I use valet service that actually park your car for you !!! Cotton candy was $15 and there was hardly anyone around to show you where your seat was!!! Went to Monster Jam Saturday and the show itself was Awesome. BUT, I had to check my bag. Really wish I had known ahead of time. I received enough emails that you would think some info would have been included that no bags are allowed unless it is clear. Of course, checking the bag was easy, getting it back-RIDICULOUS! No one giving directions or information, just me and everyone else from the event trying to get our stuff. We came all the way from Australia and watched the show always loved monsterjam we had a blast! Yeh had to run my bag back to the car but totally understand the clear bag policy the safety of the public is paramount considering the recent attacks at public events. Sad that this was the last event at Georgia Dome we have watched both supercross and monsterjam live from Georgia Dome on our tv back in Australia!
Monster Truck Jam in Atlanta was awesome. First time ever being in a big arena, seeing the Monster Truck Jam, first time riding Marta's railways in Atlanta. Had a fun,and wonderful time with family. Thank you Rondal Lovingood and Shannon Lovingood for treating your mother in-law, and momma with a fun time. Also my grandson's really liked it too.
I had one of the worst experiences of my life at the Dome on Saturday. As soon as I stepped out of my Lyft ride, employees were telling me to leave my purse in the car. I had no idea what they were even talking about, and of course I can't do so. Then in line I was told my purse wasn't allowed in at all, even if they searched it, which i offered. Not once did an employee of the Georgia Dome tell me that there was a purse check. I had to find Atlanta police and they kindly told me. After I checked my purse I got back in line ... read more
Couldn't get to seat or the bar due to a fire for a long time. Staff were very unorganized and didn't know how to manage the situation.
