Dr. Lucas has been great, but his PET tech is not a nice person. I told the PET guy that he was doing things very differently than the previous PET scans I've had. He just said don't worry about it and made me feel like I was the one with the problem. I'm dying of cancer and just want to make sure my previous scan will compare accurately. He just didn't care. He also stuck me three times without really preparing my skin with alcohol. I have bad veins but at least you should care about giving me an infection. Very troubling e... read more

Dr. Lucas is by far the best doctor I have ever had! He is caring, well informed and goes far beyond the basic care so many doctors only do. Dr. Lucas and his staff are very helpful and extremely well informed and up to date with the latest technology regarding cancer and radiology options. I think that anyone who needs radiology this is the place to go. Everyone in his office is great! I just had to let someone know about what happened to me when I went to get a Pet scan at Dr. Lucas's office. I was so cold and uncomfortable the whole time I was there. The weird person who stuck me missed three times! And I think he used the same needle over and over. Nobody has ever had so much trouble with my veins, even I can see them. A strange experience indeed. My doctor sent me to Dr. Lucas for a PETCT scan and the first thing I noticed about him was his front gold tooth. He stuck a needle in my arm that hurt more than any other I've had, it swelled up. Then he made me wait in a cold room without a blanket for nearly an hour with no explaination. When someone finally came I asked if I could use the restroom and they told me unless I really had to go I should wait until the pictures are done. The pictures took over a half hour! Worst doctor experience ever. Went to Dr. Lucas for a PET scan and he didn’t even know what he was doing. I did a little research before I went so I had a few questions and he couldn’t even answer them, he just said “don’t worry about it”. I wasn’t worried about it until I talked to him. He was very unprofessional looking too, with an unconvincing thin black hairpiece and a ridiculous gold tooth. When I was in the scanner I was so cold and had no idea how long it was going to take. His PET Tech is nothing but a thug. I asked a few simple question, and he seemed to get fluster. I asked why the procedure was different than the same one at a different place, he stood over me and with intimidating look said, "That's just how we do it here." Very scary man. Dr Lucas is great, but you want to stay away from this guy.

I only went to this office for a PET Scan. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. I asked the tech a few questions about the test and all he had to say was "Don't worry about it" or "It don't matta". I don't think he had any idea what he was doing. I'm so worried that the results aren't reliable. I have to got to this group of doctors for my chemo, but I won't get another PET scan there! Just thought someone should know.
