My cat was murdered by my neighbours dog, it was a 14 year old defenceless inside cat with half of it teeth missing that had strayed next door and had the misfortune of being throttled to death. They took it down to the vet. The vet is covering up for who brought it there knowing it could me mean there dog is reported as being dangerous. not giving me the details to confirm what I already know about who dropped off my cat. I'd have to say I've been to Wonthaggi vets / Gippsland vets for over 15 years . with different great Danes over the years . A very high level of care is taken by this group . I once had a great Dane with mouth cancer. I took him to four different veterinarians who diagnosed him all saying it's nothing serious.. I was not satisfied so I looked beyond the distance to find the one vet that knew within five minutes an diagnosed him with mouth cancer. surgery was quick . he lived on for 4 years to the date . We are away for Easter holidays and our dog needs an urgent vet visit. All the Gippsland Vet service can care about is payment before proceeding. After calling the after hours number it was mentioned several times payment was required to proceed without commitment to when a Vet would call or see my dog. Currently driving back to Melbourne for proper care at my regular Vet. There was absolutely no concern for the welfare of the dog during the call. My little buddy needs some regular treatments every 6 months. Since his last treatment I moved down to Grantville from Clyde North and it was not practicle to take him to his regular Vet for the 4 week injection course. I was excited that there is now a Vet in Grantville and took him here. I was very surprised to see the effort they put in here to get an understanding of his history and when they saw him, it was as if he have been comming here for years.
