I met him at EJC Hospital due to some Gastro issues. He was very sweet, caring and extremely professional. I will be seeing him for a follow up soon and I feel very confident in his knowledge and care.

This appointment took a couple of minutes. The doctor didn't look at my previous records (as requested). He sat at his computer and recommended I take this very high cost medication. He then left the room.

Used to be top notch. Not so much now. Felt he was on a time schedule, Did not answer questions that concerned me. Difficult to get responses. Made mistakes in prescribing medications, So many people lined up to have testing done. Would prefer a physician who followed through and was more concerned about me.

I would not recommend. Nice man, but sloppy on details regarding test results. Fails to consistently return calls.

Dr Girish Pore, of Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates Alpharetta GA prescribed several tests & a huge amount was billed. In my opinion, the diagnosis done was ambiguous & ineffective. I was going through a tough time & felt exploited. 1) Staff: Extremely nasty, incoherent & evasive. 2) Follow ups: NEVER 3) Online Portal: Doesn't work & they don't care. I am still paying their fees one after the other & I am not done yet. This is the place where they MAKE the patients & NOT cure them. Stay away!

This was one of my worst experiences. I was having pain in my upper stomach and he immediately recommended and Upper endoscopy. he didn’t explain anything in detail, he was very short. And worse after the endoscopy he didn’t talk to me about it, I tried to call the office for my results that I never received, I felt like I was treated like crap and I don’t think a patient should feel like that. The office didn’t get in touch with me to help me or anything. And it is ridiculously hard to get in

Recently underwent a colonoscopy. Prep was rushed, with very little privacy. Painful IV, which I usually do not notice. Rushed out of office when done, trying to get dressed while still dopey from anesthesia. No followup report. Had to request this. Severe discomfort for a week following the exam. Still experiencing discomfort after 3 weeks, seeing another doctor about this.

I was pleased with Dr. Pore. The reason for the poor mark was not the doctor but his staff. I called, and left messages, 3 days in a row, but no one returned my calls. I even tried to make an appointment, with the doctor, on the 4th day but the scheduler would not allow me to make an appointment. Then I tried to talk to the Office Manager, but was told the manager were not available, and the scheduler could not... would not... give me the Office Manager's extension. Totally unacceptable!

Business response:

Mr. McComiskey, We're very sorry that you've had this kind of experience, and we'd like to look into this further. We will reach out to you so that we can address these issues. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

He spent less than 10 minutes with me during my initial consult. He seemed to be rushed all the time and asked like 2 questions. I had to get answers out of him and volunteered more of my symptoms because i felt like he had not gotten the full picture and was not trying to understand what was wrong. A week later i went in for a colonoscopy, aid everything looked good, offered no solutions or suggestions to improve my symptoms. Once again, seemed very rushed.
