I saw another doctor in his practice for an inflammation issue and was sent to him to make sure my contacts were fitting correctly and weren't causing the problem. Dr. Pate asked a lot of questions and was very committed to figuring out what the issue was. He is very friendly and relateable, and comes across like a real person instead of detached and clinical like some doctors can be. He currently has a few evening and Saturday hours which is extremely convenient when you're working full time.
He is an amazing optometrist. He always takes his time to explains things and answer your questions

I saw Dr. Pate because my father also sees him. The staff was friendly and I felt like Dr. Pate took the time to check my eyes thoroughly and answer my questions. All while being friendly!
Dr. pate is an excellent Doctor who really seems to enjoy what he is doing. Very friendly and engaging. The examination was very complete and Dr. Pate took time to explain his findings all the way through the process. I left there feeling as if I really understood his findings. I would highly recommend him to anyone who really wants to understand their eye health.
