Had them come out for a quote and never heard back from them. Even called the guy after a few weeks. He claimed he was “working on it right now” and would get it to me the next day. It’s been weeks since that call and still nothing.
Update: I called this morning Aug 10. I spoke with a woman who said she would have the project manager call me back shortly. About an hour later I recieved a call saying they would be refunding my deposit. They said they had seen my review and thought it best we part ways. I was never informed it would take 4-6 weeks after the inspection, nor was I told they could not get the supplies. Hello, Shelby. We do see that you called on June 9th to schedule an appointment. At that time, we agreed to an appointment on July 8th. We showed up exactly when we said we would. We have been 4-6 weeks out on jobs since the storm. We have been trying to get to roof repair jobs sooner and have been hopeful that we could get to yours early, as it is not a large job, but we still have not received the material from the supply company. Ricky told me he was going to get me what we were entitled to, not what the insurance company said we deserved, and that all we’d be out is our deductible, no matter what. He looked me in the eye and promised while he shook my hand. That’s why I went with these guys. They did half the job and ghosted me for over 8 months now. They said the insurance company isn’t playing ball. I said that’s not supposed to be my problem. This feels like fraud to me.
I have to say that Glenstone had to be the biggest RIP OFF in the Springfield area. Ricky came out and made a lot of big claims about what all they were going to do for me and my house. After reading a number of glowing reviews, I was convinced that this was a great company. BOY WAS I WRONG. They drug their feet for months while my house sat waiting for them to follow through with what they assured me they would do. I had to tell them to leave after their pressuring to sign contract and was told no. I do not appreciate the high pressure pitch for a Free Estimate.
