The cleaning fee is $500 no matter what. For instance we left the front porch unswept and got hit with $500 fee deducted from our security deposit. They listed some other minor “messes” but the property was pretty messy to begin with. Also they found some stuff in the shed that was there prior to our move in and added an additional $100 charge. I have rented from Godfrey Property Management for three years and my experience has been really good. As a first time renter, they have made things very simple and very clear for me. Even though I’ve made a few mistakes, they have been very understanding and willing to work with me. Any questions or concerns that I had were always answered quickly and politely. I’m moving out suddenly due to a job offer in a different city, but I am so thankful for my time renting from Whitney and her team.

Will echo the previous reviews about how this property management company is extremely unprofessional and will take close to 100% of your (large) security deposit for things that are truly wear and tear. We were only in our townhome for 4 months while waiting to close on the house we were buying. I have rented apartments for the past 11 years across different areas of the country and Godfrey is by far the worst company I have ever worked with. This company is a joke they. I apply first to an apartment they take 30$ to let me see the property and they were rude on the phone then they take 40$ for application fee then they brought other 2 applicant and they gave the apartment to another person and they denied me claiming that i dont have enough references however i gave then reference of my current apartment where i live for 3 years. They are scammer and have no ethic. Stay away from them

Over the last three years I have been rebuilding my life after being in an abusive relationship for thirteen years.
